Cinematography: Arhaan Hirani

This project recreates one of the most powerful scenes from the Bollywood film Ae Dil Hai Mushkil, focusing on the iconic dialogue that contrasts the fire of love with the calm of friendship. It was created both as a performance test to see how Hindi dialogue carries emotional weight when adapted and as a technical experiment using the Laowa Proteus 2x anamorphic primes. By revisiting this scene through a fresh lens, the project pays tribute to the original while exploring how cinematic language, emotion, and optics come together to shape storytelling.
